LightLane Home

LightLane Home.

Bike lanes are an effective means of improving safety for motorists and cyclists.  However, due to the high cost of installation, bike lanes are not widely available.  Instead of forcing cyclists to adapt their behavior to the existing infrastructure, the bike lane should adapt to the cyclist.

Neat concept, but with only 3 hour runtimes, and whats a “universal mobile-phone charger” anyways?

Tactical Mug: A Little Too Much?

Yes, the Battle Mug is a real product made from billeted aluminum by a company that actually makes weapons.  The beauty of the Battle Mug is the Tacti-cool rails on the side of the mug can hold all those goodies you never use and are currently weighing down the front of your rifle currently use for hunting zombies.

Gizmodo - TAC-15 Tactical Crossbow Makes Me Wish for a Zombie Outbreak - Pse tac-15.

New upper available for your OLL

“Hunting will get a lot more interesting next month when PSE releases their TAC-15 crossbow. It mounts directly on a AR-15 rifle, allowing you to swap between both weapons with minimal tinkering. Why would you need a crossbow when you are already holding an AR-15? I cannot envision a scenario where it makes sense—unless you are invited to some island beyond the bounds of law where men are hunted for sport. You don’t want to make it too easy, so you hunt with the crossbow. Then again, we are talking about the most dangerous game of all here, so you have the high-powered rifle as a backup. Speaking of backups, you might want to add the G.R.A.D. .22-cal knife gun to your double-kill arsenal just in case. Hit the following link to see a video of the TAC-15 in action.”

hmmmm

Finally!!

An AR15 that will DO WORK on Vampires!!!

ELMOTO HR-2 to conquer Europe this summer, USA next spring

ELMOTO HR-2 to conquer Europe this summer, USA next spring.

Combining some of the better qualities of a bicycle and an electric scooter with style, this light electric vehicle (LEV) is designed and built in Germany and we’ve learned that it will be hitting the European market this July. Built on an aluminum frame, the HR-2 uses 33 lb ft of torque from a brushless 1.7 kW motor to take you up to about 30 mph in a spirited fashion. It’s lithium battery packs enough energy to keep you moving along for 40 miles and recharges to 80 per cent in 2 hours, all the way in 4 with an available high-performance charger.

The Marzocchi 888 suspenders up front and dual oil-spring shocks in the back should turn any rough surface into smooth sailing and help you enjoy your quiet ride. It comes equipped with an instrument panel that tracks your speed, battery capacity and remaining range to keep you informed. Buyers in Europe should be prepared to part with 33340€ ($4,389) before tax and shipping. We’re told that Americans who want a piece of this sweet emission-free action might have a chance at getting their own ELMOTO before Christmas though, if not, it will definitely be here by Spring 2010. Bookmark their website now and check it out again when it gets a make-over in May.

Redding Walmart limiting ammo purchases already?

Josh, posted Apr 9th 2009 at 7:28 pm

At our local Walmart we were dumbfounded when there was actually some ammo on the shelf, but they were not willing to sell it to us. I’m sure not shopping at that Walmart anymore.

After talking with the assistant manager Robyn we found that she was actually unaware of their ammo cap but was backing the policy.

Bad Walmart

No Walmart, I’m not understanding, sell me my ammo!
